Grange National School operates in accordance with the Education Act 1998 and the Rules for National Schools as determined by the Department of Education and Science (D.E.S.).
Its rules and procedures are derived from legislation (e.g. Code of Behaviour; Attendance Policy; Enrolment Policy; Anti-bullying Policy; Health and Safety) and from National Guidelines (e.g. Child Protection; Assessment).
When enrolling their children in Grange National School, parents are expected to support teachers by following the policies and procedures of the school. Parents are asked to be supportive and respectful of the school’s Catholic ethos, strong work ethic, and the customs and rules which have served generations of pupils well.
